By Peter Lance January 29th, 2025 “Murder Most Foul,” the gripping podcast hosted by James Sulanowski ON SPOTIFY just dropped a two-part back-to-back series on my investigation into Doris Duke’s murder of Eduardo Tirella, on Oct. 7th, 1966 outside the gates of her Bellevue Avenue estate in Newport, RI.
As I reported in two pieces for VANITY FAIR and a 438 PAGE BOOK, published in hardcover, eBook, Audible and Paperback, the Newport Police corruptly ruled the death “an unfortunate accident” and closed the case in 96 hours after creating a fabricated three page TRANSCRIPT of an interview with Duke that never took place.
This is A VIDEO I shot of Robert Walker, the former paperboy for Rough Point, who was an unknown witness to the lead-up to Eduardo’s death and its aftermath. It was compiled by VF’s editors after the Newport Police reopened the case sparking international coverage. This is A VIDEO TRAILER for the book.
