Congresswoman Lois Capps said she has not seen the PSA&#8217;s yet but &#8220;any reminders of the consequences of drinking and driving is a benefit to our community, especially around the holidays.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Several more PSA videos are set to be released in February. In these Public Service Announcements, Morua expresses remorse and regret for killing Mallory Dies.<\/p>\n<p>Last December, Morua drove drunk and hit Dies while she crossed the street. She died five days later. A judge sentenced Morua to 20 years to life. Part of the sentence included the promise from Morua to film several PSA&#8217;s on the dangers of drinking and driving.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Shuster of TV Santa Barbara, produced the commercials. &#8220;It was tough. His demeanor actually surprised me. He was very remorseful and very emotional,&#8221; said Shuster.<\/p>\n<p>Morua&#8217;s Public Service Announcements were made for the Vow4Mal Foundation aimed at preventing future DUI tragedies.
