Alan Simpson once observed, &#8220;If you have integrity, nothing else matters. Lois Capps owes her constituents the integrity to do the right thing and pay the staggering medical bills incurred by the family of Mallory Dies. These bills resulted from the confessed criminal acts of Mr. Raymond Morua while he was employed by Mrs. Capps.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the right thing to do regardless of whether Mr. Morua was &#8220;officially&#8221; representing Mrs. Capps when he killed Ms. Dies with his car and fled the scene. It&#8217;s the right thing to do because civil and political liability is a lower ethical priority to restitution for wanton destruction of a human life.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Morua has done the right thing by admitting his guilt.
