This is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/livecoverage\/ukraine-zelensky-biden-congress-washington-trip-russia\/card\/zelensky-compares-current-fight-to-battle-of-the-bulge-9feiSzbDyB8bfckTDF0G\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the WSJ&#8217;s coverage<\/a> of his speech.<\/p>\n<p>As we celebrate The Holidays, remember all of the American heroes who died or were wounded in that battle, particularly <strong>Eduardo Tirella,<\/strong> Private First Class, who served in Company K of the 328th Infantry. He&#8217;s seen below with his mother Etilia Falgione Tirella after he came home.<\/p>\n<p>Eddie was the youngest of her nine children and on D-Day she sent him a letter praying for an end to the War and congratulating him on earning his PFC stripes.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-two years later, he was murdered by Doris, Duke, then the wealthiest woman in America.
